Customs and Excise, as they were before the merger with the Inland Revenue, have always enjoyed a unique status as an enforcement agency with a history dating back to the heyday of smuggling and with far-reaching powers granted to its officers.

AegisTax SA specialises in personal tax resolution and has less experience with VAT.   As a result we have an arrangement with Aegistax LLP, a separate company based in Lincolns Inn Fields.  Aegistax LLP is staffed by ex Customs officers and can provide advice and asistance relating to VAT issues and investigations.
